Clean and Sober Living Kauai
Are you ready for a clean and sober living establishment?
Sober living is a place where a group of people in recovery live together with a common purpose of staying clean and sober in structured living environment.
A sober living home has no counselor or treatment programs on site.
Clean and Sober Living Kauai is intended for those who progressed in their recovery programs to the point they can live on their own but choose to live in a shared living environment. We want to provide a place where people can build a foundation for their recovery and learn a new way to live.
This clean and sober living home provides residents with democratically managed sober lodging. Self-managed sober living is designed to increase self-responsibility and support for people in recovery. Management provides no recovery services.
Applicant Requirements:
- No consumption or possession of alcohol or other illicit drugs
- Must be working or with a stable income
- Must regularly attend 12 Steps Program meeting
- Must be personally clean and capable of assisting with maintenance of the house.
- Provide two personal references
- Willing and capable to live in a shared living environment
- Twice monthly Resident Council Meetings
- Residents agree to maintain inside and outside the house insuring a clean, neat, and safe environment. Residents are expected to complete weekly chores
